Q-Lat3 Is Going Public This Week!

Q-Lat3 has now been submitted to Assembly '09 game development competition. According to the Assembly's site all the games participating in the competition will be published July 29th. So keep an eye on the Assembly website, since that will be the first place to get it!
One big change before submitting the game was to change the game's resolution from 800x600 to 1280x720 (HD). This meant a lot of changes and a few levels had to go. But all in all I'm pretty happy how the game turned out.

Yes, HD is sweet. I hope PK3 will support HD resolutions as well. And 16:10 aspect ratio ones too. However, I'm unable to play the game in fullscreen mode. Also, why not enabling the analog stick?
The game got nice graphics but I think sometimes it's running slower on my pc. The music is excellent.
And the game is too hard. Especially when you have to control two or more balls at the same time. And if you're not fast enough - the time is over.
Thanks for the feedback Ivan! We actually plan to add the analog stick support to the next update that will be released on Monday. I'm also adding a bonus color for player 2 in two player mode and I'm adjusting the difficulty by making the extra player balls appear less frequently.
I'll try to optimize the game as well, but no promises that it would mean a very big speed boost...
